The Best Station Hotel was built in 1840 as a General Store, Wagon Repair shop and local post office, in the late 1800s early 1900s it became a train stop for local produce it also transported kids from Reading to Slatington for High School from 1919 to 1946, it was called the "Berksy" Over time the Best station Hotel had other names Like Flossie's, Best Station Hotel, New Best Station Hotel and for a brief moment, it was called Legends Valley at the Best Station Hotel Until 2019 when it was changed back to The Best Station Hotel. Today the Best Station Hotel is Owned and Operated by Retired US Army SFC Dayne Callaby and his Wife Stacey. We hailed from Allentown and the Whitehall area, We joined the army in 1994 then after retiring in 2016 we settled down in the Slatington area, after being the manager for Jean and George Boyko,

We then took over the next chapter of the Best Station Hotel.
